- Nicolas Jaar is, quite literally, the man of the moment. The recent college graduate released RA's #1 album of last year, and garnered the top spot in our reader's poll of the best live acts. His Clown & Sunset label recently put together a hotly debated art object called The Prism, which asks listeners to find a friend to listen to the music contained within. Such high-minded concepts come naturally to Jaar, whose comparative literature studies are a huge inspiration to his work as a musician. So that's exactly where we started the conversation when we met him as part of our Live RA Exchange series at the 2012 Mutek Festival.
