- WHITE will host the deep house artist's first full-length.
Gilles Aiken, AKA Edward, will release his first LP in February 2012.
Aiken has been plugging away releasing classy deep house 12-inches since 2007. The bulk of these have been put-out by Oskar Offermann's Berlin based WHITE label—a snug fit for his slow-burning sound. WHITE will also be the home for Teupitz, his debut album and the first full-length project for the imprint overall. The title is a reference to a village in Brandenburg, Germany, where Aiken was residing when he penned the album. (The surrounding lakes and general sense of peace and tranquillity are said to be key inspirations on the writing of Teupitz.) There are no details of a CD release as yet, but a 2xLP offering is on the cards.
