The Liverpool party will throw a series of anniversary events in 2015, starting next month.
Freeze has announced its tenth birthday plans.
Starting life at Lemon Lounge in 2005, Freeze currently ranks among the likes of Chibuku and Circus as one of Liverpool's top promoters. In 2015, they will host a year-long run of anniversary events. The vast majority of these will take place at The Bombed Out Church, though they will kick off the series with a return to Lemon Lounge on Saturday, March 14th. Danny Howells has been confirmed as headliner.
Looking ahead to May, Bonobo joins Gilles Peterson at The Bombed Out Church on the 3rd, followed by a Young Turks showcase (Jamie xx, John Talabot, Lorenzo Senni, Kowton) on the 23rd and Crazy P plus TBA guests on the 24th. So far only one June date has been revealed: a disco-tinged extravaganza featuring Todd Terje, Greg Wilson, Gerd Janson and Prins Thomas on the 13th. More dates will be added in the coming months.
Separate to the series, Freeze has teamed up with powerhouse outfit Cream to present The Asylum, a 16-hour festival coming to Liverpool's Newsham Park on Saturday, April 4th. The action will be split across two venues, with Marco Carola, Leon and Bill Patrick already confirmed. The rest of the lineup is still TBA.
