Berlin's midweek club will add Saturdays to the summer roster, featuring Will Saul, Tony Lionni and Tensnake
Berlin club Cookies has announced details for an upcoming series of Saturday night parties.
The Mitte club usually only opens its doors on Tuesday and Thursday nights, with residencies that show a strong preference for the German house community, with regular appearances from Trickski, label parties by Dial, and John Osborn's monthly Jackson night.
Starting on July 31st, four consecutive Saturday night events will run in addition to the normal midweek program, beginning with an Aus Music night, featuring Lee Jones and label owner Will Saul. The following week local Berlin label WHITE will take their turn in the main room, headed up by label boss Oskar Offermann and labelmates Edward and Johannes Albert. The third party, dubbed Strictly Dancing, will feature Panorama Bar regulars Jerome Sydenham and Tony Lionni, while the final night will be distinctly disco-flavoured, with sets by Tensnake and Idjut Boys. In addition to the main room action, the Dream dance floor will feature sets from Salto Mortale, Jah Fish, BBE Soundsystem, and Coop & Friends of Broken Hearts Club.
Update:
Cookies cancelled the Summer Saturday parties on 9 August 2010.
