Carl Craig, Caribou, Goldie, John Digweed and Dave Clarke are among the artists booked at the Amsterdam venue.
Melkweg will host a total of 10 different parties next month during Amsterdam Dance Event.
Formerly a milk factory (the name means "milky way"), Melkweg has been a cornerstone of Amsterdam's music scene for about 40 years, and is always a key part of ADE's club program. Their schedule during this year's conference begins much the same way it did last year, with Detroit veteran Carl Craig headlining. Kenny Larkin and Kyle Hall will join as well. Caribou, Motor City Drum Ensemble and the Hessle Audio crew (Pearson Sound, Ben UFO, Pangaea) are all confirmed too. Meanwhile, Groove Armada will play live in Melkweg's new hall, Rabozaal.
Things get much busier at Melkweg after that. On Thursday the club will host three big showcases simultaneously: Kompakt in Rabozaal, with Michael Mayer, Matias Aguayo, WhoMadeWho and John Tejada, Metalheadz in the main club, with Goldie, Ed Rush and a live set from D-Bridge, and Chew the Fat! in the second room, with Borgore, Foamo and Raffertie among others. Local ex-pat Dave Clarke takes the reins on Friday for a party featuring himself, Derrick May, Len Faki, Andrew Weatherall and Mute Records founder Daniel Miller. John Digweed and Guy J will take over Rabozaal that night for a Bedrock showcase in Rabozaal.
Saturday sees Melkweg running at full tilt with a total of four different events packed in, beginning at 8:00 PM with a concert from Eskmo. At 9:30 PM a Border Community night will get going with James Holden, Fairmont and Luke Abbott. Lone, Pariah and Blawan team up for a Sonic Warfare and R&S event, and Crookers, Fake Blood and Annie Mac round off the bill for the night. The weekend wraps up with Dutch heavyweight Sander Kleinenberg playing all night long on Sunday.
Tickets to all of Melkweg's parties during ADE are available here on RA. Keep in mind that you'll need a club membership in addition to a ticket to gain entry. Membership's are available at the Melkweg box office for just a few euros and last for a month.
