The Manhattan venue celebrates its anniversary next weekend.
Manhattan nightlife mainstay Cielo will celebrate nine years of operation with a set from Cassy next Saturday the 28th.
Nestled within the Meatpacking District, Cielo is an intimate club with a sunken dance floor surrounded by a pristine Funktion One sound system. Their programming reflects a real devotion to the music, with international artists from Richie Hawtin to Donato Dozzy to Pearson Sound passing through over the years, and Francois K hosting his eclectic Deep Space nights there every Monday.
Headlining honors for next weekend's anniversary bash will go to Cassy, the globetrotting DJ now based in Paris who maintains a longstanding residency at Berlin's Panorama Bar. She's a former guest of Cielo, having played there three years ago. This time around, club residents Nicolas Matar and Willie Graff will provide support.
