The Detroit deep house DJ will play Smart Bar tomorrow night.
Patrice Scott will guest at Smart Bar's Rhythmatic night tomorrow in Chicago.
The event last hosted Rick Wilhite, and this time another veteran Detroit artist will be on hand. Scott has had a fairly busy year: he mixed RA's 298th podcast back in February, then amidst a series of bookings across Europe, he shared the decks with Mike Huckaby at our first RA VS party. As a producer he's known for the deep, vintage shades of house released mostly through his own label, the six year-old Sistrum Recordings. In Chicago, he's on the bill with a trio of local DJs, including Nathan Drew Larsen and Rhythmatic residents Scotty Brandon and Michael Serafini.
An email RSVP will grant free admission before midnight; otherwise cover is always a cool $3.00. Rhythmatic's Detroit connection continues next month with a night featuring Marcellus Pittman.
