  • Tornado Wallace will head to Wollongong this weekend to play at Parkside's first birthday party. The collective has been running regular Sunday gigs around the coastal town roughly 90 minutes south of Sydney, usually taking over Hotel Illawarra for house and disco events. Over the past 12 months, Parkside has hosted international acts like H.O.S.H., Horse Meat Disco and Hot Since '82, as well as often inviting some of Sydney and Melbourne's most reputable jocks along to play headline slots. In this instance, Victorian DJ and producer Lewie Day AKA Tornado Wallace will be making his way to the party for his first appearance in Wollongong, having recently released his first 12-inch of 2013 on Lovefingers' ESP Institute label. Joining him will be Murat Kilic, the man behind Sydney club The Spice Cellar, along with Parkside's resident DJs. The show kicks off at 3:00PM on February 10th at the Novotel Northbeach rooftop. Tickets can be purchased here on RA.
