The Miami hotspot has a two-night anniversary celebration in store for this weekend.
Miami's Electric Pickle will celebrate Five Years Strong with a pair of parties this weekend.
Since opening its doors in early 2009, the Pickle has hosted a who's-who of house and techno artists, with bookings in recent months including DJ Three, Konrad Black, Ewan Pearson and DJ Sprinkles. For this weekend's anniversary events, they've enlisted the help of two acts representing a cross-section of US talent. First up on Friday is the house-meets-pop stylings of San Francisco trio PillowTalk. They'll play live, and support will come from club boss Will Renuart, fellow resident Andrew Ward and Tomas from the local Aquabooty crew. Then on Saturday, a night presented jointly with Red Bull Music Academy will see eclectic Midwest selector and Sound Signature man Theo Parrish take over the decks for a four-hour set, with Renuart also on the bill.
Tickets to these and other parties at the Pickle are available at their club page.
