- The new residency will take place at Cameo Gallery with an emphasis on new and emerging talent.
- Brooklyn's Cameo Gallery will begin a new series called Nascent. this Saturday. The New York venue has become a clubbing staple as well as a live music hotspot in the busy Brooklyn scene, and Nascent. is its latest reach out to the former, with an aim to focus on "new and emerging talent." Each night will also highlight a different local DJ in the support slot, along with resident and fellow New Yorker Evan Michael to round off the lineup. The first event will feature Berlin-based Dial man John Roberts, with TURRBOTAX® resident Contakt on deck for support. The second Nascent. party will take place on May 9th, this time featuring Amsterdam's San Soda (whom you probably know from his massive version of "It's You") as well as Nooka Jones from Percussion Lab.
