- The double-LP showcases material released digitally between 2006 and 2010.
Cuthead has a double-LP in the works for Uncanny Valley.
Before he joined Uncanny Valley, Cuthead was part of another Dresden collective: Kunst:stoff Breakz. (Apparently the crew also threw pretty wild parties "at abandoned industrial locations or in the woods" around the German city.) Total Sellout is a retrospective of sorts: the double-LP pulls together tracks from the two albums and one EP Cuthead released on Kunst:stoff Breakz's label as free downloads between 2006 and 2010.
"Through refinement and rearrangement, 51 tracks were boiled down to a selection of 18 and ended up as an album full of catchy bass lines, heavy beats and sampling excesses," Uncanny Valley say. The chosen tracks touch on everything from dubstep to hip-hop-tinged beats to house. Get a taste of what to expect over at Clone's website, where you can listen to snippets of each track.
Total Sellout is Cuthead's second full-length released on Uncanny Valley, following Resteessen, which landed back in January.
