The Pittsburgh afterhours spot will host Theo Parrish, Danny Wang and more.
Hot Mass, an underground club open well past normal curfew due to its bathhouse locale, has announced its last round of 2014 bookings as well as a major revamp.
Aaron Clark, a resident at the club's gay-oriented Honcho party, says the remodel will improve Hot Mass's capacity and sound, a necessity due to the increased profile of the club's guests. Its current booking configuration allows for four monthlies booked by Honcho, Humanaut, Pittsburgh Track Authority and Jarrett Tebbets.
Atom TM will be joined by techno veteran Shawn Rudiman on September 20th. Other notable fall bookings include Basic Soul Unit on September 27th, Bambounou and JD Samson as part of the VIA Festival on October 3rd, Theo Parrish on October 18th, Daniel Wang on December 6th and Iron Curtis on December 13th. Argot's Steve Mizek and remix innovator John Morales will also play the club before the year's end. On September 12th, the club's bookers will host a fundraiser for the revamp, with residents from all four monthlies locked in for sets.
