- The experimental titans will play for The Church Off York in October.
- LA's The Church Off York has announced an October 13th double-bill featuring Oren Ambarchi and William Basinski. Ambarchi's next album, Quixoticism, will drop on Editions Mego on October 27th. A relentless collaborator, the guitarist also released music recorded with Jim O'Rourke and Keiji Haino on his own Black Truffle label earlier this year. This year also saw the release of a second collaboration with Sunn O)))'s Stephen O'Malley as well as a live set in duet with Heldon's Richard Pinhas. Basinski has been residing in LA since 2008. Last year, he issued his latest full-length, Nocturnes, as well as a deluxe 9LP boxset of his career-defining Disintegration Loops.
