- The Norwegian duo's final album will come out in November.
Röyksopp will release what is reportedly their last LP on November 11th.
The Inevitable End follows the Norwegian group's collaborative comeback with Robyn earlier this year, as well as a lengthy world tour with the Swedish singer. It's their first album as a duo since Senior in 2010, and Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland claim it'll be their last. According to Pitchfork, it won't be the last music they make together, but it will be their final full-length.
The record is heavy on vocal collaborations, and Robyn pops up twice—once on a new song, "Rong," and also on a reworked version of "Monument" from the Robyn & Röyksopp EP—and The Inevitable End also features The Irrepressibles' Jamie McDermott, former Björk collaborator Susanne Sundfør and Ryan James from Man Without Country. You can stream new track "Skulls" here, and watch a video for "Monument" below.
