TNDMx will present debut Mexican appearances from Lindstrøm, Jessy Lanza and Dorian Concept on April 25th.
The event series, its name an abbreviation for tandem-ex, is underwritten by Nissan and seeks to position local talent on the same stages as visiting luminaries. On the 25th, TNDMx will take over Mexico City's 1500-capacity Sala nightclub. Lindstrom, who recently announced a full-length collaboration with '70s rocker Todd Rundgren, will top a bill which also includes Hyperdub's synth pop darling Jessy Lanza and Ninja Tune mainstay Dorian Concept. Crosstown Rebels affiliate Metrika will perform with a full live band.
Locals on the bill include Soul Of Hex, The Last Faders and Inigo Vontier. A couple days prior to the show, TNDMx will host a screening of short films in partnership with Berlin's Pictoplasma festival, emphasizing the event's cross-platform, visually-oriented bent.
