The SF crew will begin a four date monthly over Pride weekend at Sound.
Honey Soundsystem has announced a four date residency at Hollywood nightclub Sound, beginning on June 14th.
Building off their long-running Sunday night party in San Francisco, the crew, which includes Jason Kendig, Josh Cheon, Jackie House and Bézier, has gone global in recent years—Kendig appeared at Ostgut Ton's NYE blow-out at Berghain and Cheon's Dark Entries reissue label continues to gain traction. In many ways, Honey served as a template for the growing scene of musically astute US gay parties such as Honcho, Spotlight and Wrecked. Fittingly, some local fellow travelers are on support at the LA monthly. Jeniluv, who throws Jack and Making Shapes, as well as Victor Rodriguez and Chris Bowen (of Bears In Space and Cub Scout) will also serve as residents. HNY will play Sound July 19th, August 23rd and September 20th to round out the residency.
