Two gigs in Canada and two in the US are on this week's schedule.
Berlin techno favorite Marcel Dettmann is about to embark upon his next set of North American dates.
While Dettmann hasn't put out a solo record since mid-2014, March of this year saw him release a various artists compilation on his own MDR label back in March. He's also busy as usual with touring, and he'll be back in North America this week for four gigs, split between Canada and the US.
First up, this Tuesday night—or early Wednesday morning for Canada Day, to be precise—is an Ostgut Ton showcase at Montreal's Stereo with fellow techno heavy-hitter Function, whose Berghain 07 mix arrived on Ostgut last month. Later on Wednesday, Dettmann will swing through Toronto for a Canada Day edition of Electric Island, where the lineup also features Sasha, Lee Foss and Dennis Ferrer. On Friday, he'll hit Chicago for a Paradigm all-nighter, with Dubfire and the Visionquest trio, that will ring in Independence Day, and on Saturday night, he'll finish his quick trek with a set at Verboten in Brooklyn.
Tickets to see Dettmann in Montreal, Chicago and Brooklyn are available on RA.
