The week-long festival returns in August, with 18 events spread across various venues in Copenhagen.
The full schedule is in for Strøm 2015, running from August 8th through 15th in Copenhagen.
The week-long festival prides itself on pairing breakthrough and established Danish talent with a wealth of international bookings, spreading the action between 18 events. Venues this year range from subway trains, museums and baroque churches to more traditional spaces like Harvey, Crystal Club and Culture Box. The programme opens on Saturday evening aboard passenger ship M/S Bjørnsholm, with sets from local favourites Kenton Slash Demon and Kasper Marott.
The festival continues on Monday the 10th with a party at Cisternerne, the city's Museum of Modern Glass Art, where Logos will perform live. Wednesday is the busiest day of the week: K15 spins at Jolene, François K headlines a roller disco in Kødbyen, Surgeon plays at Church Of Our Savior and Flying Lotus tops the bill at VEGA, one of the city's premier concert halls. Other highlights include Head High at Harvey on Thursday, Robert Hood and Rivet at Culture Box on Friday, and a festival finale at Volume in the company of Sherwood & Pinch and Andy Stott.
