The new party series will run weekly at Teatre Principal for the next three months, with DJ Qu, Onur Özer and Steve O'Sullivan all featuring.
A new series of house and techno parties starts in Barcelona this weekend called Checkpoint.
Run by a collective of local promoters, the events will take place every Friday night from October 2nd through December 25th at Teatre Principal, a multi-purpose venue situated on Las Ramblas. The focus will be on deep, club-ready fare, with Rhadoo headlining the opening alongside Spanish producer Sonodab. Other season highlights include Steve O'Sullivan (October 16th), Onur Özer (October 23rd), Jan Krueger (November 13th), DJ Qu (November 20th), Archie Hamilton (November 27th), Praslea (December 4th) and a December 18th bash with New York's Fred P.
In addition to the music, Checkpoint will also collaborate with artists from across various disciplines, including sculpture, lights, 3D mapping and painting.
Tickets to Checkpoint are available here on RA.
