- Duke Of York is Graham Lewis (of Wire) and Andreas Karperyd's first record together since 1999.
Editions Mego has announced a new album, Duke Of York, from Hox, due out on December 11th.
Hox is the collaborative project between Brit Graham Lewis, bassist for seminal post-punk band Wire, as well as a member of Dome and Omala, and Andreas Karperyd (who was also in Omala). They first worked together as Hox for 1999's It-ness album, and Duke Of York is the first new material since then. Calling it a "contemporary electronic pop record," the label says the LP is "tender, skewered, sophisticated and unsettling." You can stream "Javelin" below.
