- John Tejada, Scanner, Markus Fix and Florian Meindl are all involved on the 13-track set.
The label arm of California modular synth maker Tiptop Audio has its second compilation scheduled for February release.
Tiptop Audio Records, whose focus (as you might imagine) is on modular-based productions, launched in early 2015 with a compilation that included tracks from artists like Surgeon, Blawan and KiNK. A few others have also joined the cause for V.A. 002, like LA's John Tejada and Drumcell—after collaborating for a Phase VI track last year, Tejada's aboard again with a solo cut, while Drumcell appears alongside Luis Flores. Angle and Joao Cesar are back on this one as well. Also included on the roster are longtime UK ambient and avant-garde artist Scanner, Cocoon affiliate Markus Fix and Florian Meindl.
The compilation will come on ten-track double-vinyl and 13-track digital formats. Matteo Giampaglia is again taking care of the artwork, this time with help from calligrapher Caterina Scardillo.
You can stream (and download) one of those digital cuts, and check out a video teaser for the compilation, below.
