Nomad, the second release on the London label, is coming out in April.
The second release on London's Utopia Records is a three-track EP from Lars Bartkuhn titled Nomad.
Bartkuhn, who ran the well-respected Needs label in the '90s and held a residency at Offenbach's Robert Johnson, is known for crafting deep, organic house under his own name and as Passion Dance Orchestra. He returned from a stint away from dance music with 2015's Music for The Golden Age, which came out on Volcov's Neroli Records. Nomad, which is due out in April, comprises three cuts, which you can sample below. Bartkuhn will play live at Panorama Bar in Berlin on Friday, April 15th, with Tama Sumo, Jay Daniel, Lakuti and Mark Grusane also on the bill.
Utopia Records, which is run by Alex Bradley, launched in 2015 with a reissue of Manabu Nagayama and Soichi Terada's 1991 cut "Low Tension."
