- Mike Paradinas recorded the LP in 1995 while working on other material for Warp.
µ-Ziq will put out an unreleased 1995 album, RY30 Trax, via his label Planet Mu this Friday.
The prolific Mike Paradinas unearthed another lost album from the '90s, Aberystwyth Marine, back in February. Last spring he also dished out quite a bit of archival material via his Soundcloud. This new one, named after the Yamaha drum synth that he used on the tracks, was recorded in 1995. At the time Paradinas was busy recording an album for Warp Records under the name Jake Slazenger, so RY30 got shelved. Its 14 tracks "were always intended to belong together as an album," says Planet Mu. "Now we’re proud to make them available to you twenty years later."
You can hear one of the album cuts now on the Planet Mu Bandcamp.
