- Kuedo's label will release the Berlin producer's first LP later this month.
Knives will release J.G. Biberkopf's debut album, Ecologies Ii: Ecosystems Of Excess, on November 11th.
Jacques Gaspard Biberkopf debuted last year with the Ecologies EP, also on Kuedo's label, which RA's Angus Finlayson said sounds "like the incidental music for a Hollywood film (with the foley left in)." Biberkopf himself has called his work "audio theatre," a sometimes non-musical approach that extends to his second Ecologies release. Made of " field recordings that are manipulated and fused with digital programming, melody and design," Knives describes Ecologies II as an "accelerated take on musique concrète and its techniques, subsumed into the digital realm."
Ecologies II: Ecosystems Of Excess will come with a book that includes an essay by journalist and theorist DeForrest Brown Jr. Listen to album track "From Infinity To Here."
