- Ownlife boss Leiras has also collaborated with Svreca on an EP that's due out later this week.
Berlin label Ownlife is reissuing Aonox, the 1994 album from US techno innovator Joey Beltram.
Aonox, originally released on Visible Records, was Beltram's second full-length. A step away from the hard-edged sound he's long been known for, its 11 tracks instead saw the producer present his own take on ambient and downtempo techno. Ownlife is putting the album back on wax for the first time since its 1994 release (and those original double-vinyl copies nowadays fetch collectors' prices). It's set to arrive in late May through the label's SELD series, which launched last year with a mini-compilation of hard-to-find Iesope Drift tracks from 1997.
Ownlife is also preparing a collaborative EP from label boss Leiras and Semantica head Svreca, this week's RA podcaster, who has already worked with Voices From The Lake and Retina.it on material released in 2017. Their EP, The Bridges I Burn, is due out in a few days.
