A ten-track album, titled Over Depth, is coming out in October.
Mick Harris is releasing an album as Fret called Over Depth.
The Fret alias last appeared on a 12-inch in 1995 on a sub-label of Downwards called Resonance. (It was recently included in Objekt's Kern mix.) Harris is now reviving the project for a ten-track double-LP, due out on October 13th via Karlrecords.
Beginning his career as a drummer in Napalm Death, Harris went on to be a force in various strains of dark electronic music, influencing everything from Birmingham techno to drum & bass and ambient. He's also known for his solo work with projects like Scorn, Monrella, Lull and Quoit.
Harris will perform as Fret at Berlin Atonal festival on August 17th.
