- Pacific Alley is coming out via Ron Morelli's label in October.
Krikor Kouchian is releasing an album on L.I.E.S. on October 2nd.
Pacific Alley's hazy, '80s West Coast sound was inspired by old VHS films and soundtracks and taps into the imagery of Los Angeles noir. The record itself was recorded and mixed between March and August 2015 before being transferred to chrome cassette in Paris. L.I.E.S. founder Ron Morelli is credited as the album's executive producer.
Kouchian was originally affiliated with the French Touch scene in the '90s, especially under the Krikor alias, and released a limited 7-inch on L.I.E.S. under the name K.K. back in May. L.I.E.S. has already released albums from the likes of Broken English Club and Tzusing so far this year.
Watch the video for "Niños Matadores," which was made by Kouchian himself.
