Violet will release her first album via Dark Entries on September 19th.
"I wrote this music as a healing device that I hope can somehow help heal others too," Inês Coutinho says of Bed Of Roses, which spans techno, trip-hop and ambient. The title comes from a Bon Jovi song she loved as a child.
The Portuguese artist is known for her label, Naive, as well as Rádio Quântica and the mina parties she helps organize in Lisbon. (Naive just released an EP from Coutinho's frequent collaborator and partner, Photonz.) Earlier this year, she also put out a 12-inch on Paraíso, another Lisbon-based house label.
Dark Entries just released a Bill Converse album in June and is preparing to release a box set from German New Age artist Suzanne Doucet.
