Smirnoff Experience returns to New Century House in Manchester on 25 February 2005 as the programme continues its tour of the UK. This is the second date in a series of four events taking place over the next year that has already staged a capacity Birmingham gig.
The Manchester event will include 3 rooms of eclectic international talent alongside UK. Scottish natives, The Beta Band (DJ set) will line-up in the main room alongside a live performance from Freeform Five bringing their debut album ‘Strangest Things’ alive with a beat master and 3 vocalists, Erol Alkan and local starts the Flux DJs.
The urban scene will be represented by female MC’s. UK luminary Ty will host a Lyricist Lounge with special guest appearances from C-Mone, Lady Sovereign and Manchester’s first ladies of hip hop Jenna G and DJ Sarah Love.
A third room will host Germany's six-piece DJ/production collective Jazzanova. Their unique style interweaves Soul, Hip-hop, Jazz and House music and like the support Benji B will offer a nice cross section of sounds.
Entry to this event is via guest list only by exclusive registration on the The Smirnoff Experience website . 1200 people are expected to attend and if you are not lucky enough to get a ticket footage of the headline act will be streamed on the website after the gig. Doors open at 9:00pm.
