  • A new 19-track compilation in support of Palestine arrives next week, July 6th. Released via pan-Arab music magazine Ma3azef, It's Not Complicated features music from Brian Eno, Lee Gamble, Against All Logic (AKA Nicolás Jaar), Lafawndah and Bergsonist. The artists were instructed to submit their versions of "an audio protest" following the violent clashes between Israel and Palestinian groups last month. All proceeds from sales will go towards Medical Aid for Palestine, a charity operating in the West Bank and Gaza, in addition to Grassroots Al-Quds, a community platform. It's Not Complicated marks the second full-length release from pan-Arab platform and music magazine Ma3azef. Last year, it put out Nisf Madeena, a compilation that raised funds for Lebanese NGOs following a deadly explosion in Beirut last August. Listen to "Shadow Unit" by Asifeh and Firas Shehadeh off the forthcoming release.
