- The first EP, out November 25th, is by UK artist Slacker.
DJ and NTS Radio resident Danielle is starting a label called Soft Raw.
Out digitally and on vinyl from November 25th, the first release is a six-track EP by UK artist Slacker. Damage To Be Undone stays true to his signature sound, touching on jungle, ambient and techno. Looking further ahead, Soft Raw will welcome everything from straight-up techno and footwork to acid, electro and more.
"It's something I've been thinking about doing for ages and when these tunes landed in my inbox I knew it was the right time," Danielle told Resident Advisor. "I currently feel like I have a clear understanding of everything I love in dance music, in particular the tension between soft and raw qualities and I want this label to be able to showcase all the different forms, styles, genres, tempos and vibes that I like to play across my sets."
