- Out today, "1471" is Blunt's second release in quick succession, following "death drive freestyle" on Saturday.
Dean Blunt's Babyfather alias and Tirzah have collaborated on a new track called "1471."
Out today, November 7th, on Blunt's World Music label, the track clocks in at under two minutes and features vocals from Tirzah and DJ Escrow, the mysterious persona who first appeared on Blunt's acclaimed 2016 album, "BBF" Hosted By DJ Escrow. (DJ Escrow is uncredited.)
This is the first time Blunt has used his Babyfather alias since 2020 double-single "Aug Freestyle / MANNA" with Vegyn and John Glacier. He and Tirzah have collaborated before on "Recipe," a track on the South London artist's RA-recommended second album in 2021.
"1471" is Blunt's second release in quick succession following "death drive freestyle," which landed on Saturday, November 5th. As with most of his music, both tracks were quietly uploaded to streaming services with no marketing or promotion.
Listen to "1471" and "death drive freestyle."
