- Out in July, Brum As Fuck features Surgeon, Regis and Jerome Hill, among others.
Legendary Birmingham techno party House of God is releasing a charity compilation box set as part of its 30th birthday celebrations.
Out on July 17th, Brum As Fuck is a 24-track VA LP combining new tracks with old classics. Among the contributors are residents Surgeon, Regis and Sir Real, as well as friends of the party such as Jerome Hill, Neil Landstrumm and Dave Tarrida. All profits from the compilation will go to homeless and mental health charities based in the Midlands.
Ahead of the release of Brum As Fuck, House of God will host a sold-out 30th anniversary party, taking place next Friday, March 10th, at Tunnel Club in Birmingham.
Starting out at the legendary Que Club in the '90s, House of God is one of the world's longest-running club nights. It was also instrumental in shaping the so-called "Birmingham sound," a dark, heavy strain of techno pioneered by the party's residents.
