Rogue Audio, the solo project of Deadset member Cass, is back with an album Haphazard for Global Underground due out in April.
Haphazard is a seventeen-tracker put together by Cass and electro-breaks engineer Vandal aka Sam Evans. The album which ranges from ambient electronica and techno to vocal breakbeat also includes collabs with Aidan Lavelle, Salmonella Dub's MC Rizla and members of Australian electronica trio Infusion on a cover of Phil Collin's ‘Take Me Home’.
Six of the cuts also feature Cass on lead or backing vocals. "I've always wanted to make an album full of music that wasn't house based," says Cass. "Haphazard came about because I felt that a lot of my musical and cinematic influences were better suited to the slightly strange and different."
